I will likely be in a similar boat in August. AA’s Tcon Y fares are steep despite there being wide open inventory in all cabins.

I was able to snag DL on the outbound leg today BOS-SFO with a confirmable RUC (hard to find and they’re pushing GUCs now) on the new 321neo seats for 1/3 of the price of AA via LAX or JFK. The return will likely be AS with the upgrade unless I find another confirmable RUC flight.
