EUYR was delayed 31 minutes inbound from DBV due to ATC, but still spent 2hrs in the turn at LHR due to late cleaning/ground servicing so although BA will use the earlier ATC delay to say compensation is not due, I would argue that it is still payable.

man’s it makes perfect sense.
we were called for boarding around 9pm and really just started to board around 10pm.
then sat on the plane at least 45 minutes before being able to start taxiing.
