How far up do you want to climb Mt. Fuji? Officially paths for 6th station and above is officially closed during the off season, officially closed does not mean that the paths are blocked off and people are physically unable to go above the 6th station and above during the off season.

One important point to note is that all mountain lodges and toilets above 6th station are closed during the off season. You need to bring all your drinks and food you need for the climb. Also, there will be no toilet so need to prepare for that. Mt. Fuji is a national park and the world heritage site. Official guidance is that climber take everything back with you and not to leave anything on Mt, Fuji, which also includes human matters during the off season when toilets are closed. The official guide asks you to bring portable toilet and toilet papers, water for cleaning, not just drinking water.
