ESTA required for brief transit in Dallas FW airport en route to Canada?
Hi all,

A family member is travelling from the UK to Canada via Dallas FW airport. He will only be at DFW for 1.5 hours before boarding his connecting flight to Vancouver. Is he required to obtain an ESTA for this? If so, what should he write in the application where it asks for host name/address etc.?

Also, is he required to clear passport control at DFW and then head to departures/TSA checks etc. or can he stay airside?
