Sure, the pre-boarding announcement was made, but before the actual boarding announcements the ground staff have opened the glass doors to the aerobridges and just waved everyone through before walking off.

ever checked whether those boarding actually are supposed to be. I'm actually surprised that there isn't (more of) a mad rush of people as soon as the pre-boarding announcement to switch off mobile phones is called.
