My experience with tap to pay for MRT for 3, which requires a different card for each:
- Chase CSR (physical) did not work (didn’t think to try ApplePay version)
- Cap1 VentureX physical worked no problem - didn’t think it try ApplePay - charged $1.56 US
- didn’t want to waste time trying other Chase cards, didn’t try Amex
- Used two Canadian cards for the other two entries - TD Visa charged me $2.18 CAD (incl. foreign transaction fee), BMO Mastercard didn’t show up several days after it should have, so I’ll see if it ever does).
Next week, will be back, might try the ApplePay version of Cap1 and CSR to see if they work. For three, worst case, figure I can use one of the Cap1 physical cards, then ApplePay version also to enter (I assume since the ApplePay and physical versions will process differently, essentially, the system will presume these as separate cards).
Cap1 and CSR worked everywhere else no problem (hotel, restaurants, food court at Jewel, Changi bookstore, etc.).
