Here's perhaps a different kind of question -- Will I be allowed to keep my mask on for the duration of the interview?
I assume there are no more masking requirements anywhere in the US, which is fine. I don't expect others to wear a mask. But I am immunocompromised and will need to continue protecting myself with an N95 mask for the foreseeable future.
I imagine it'll be just like at the airport or land border where they just ask you to bring down your mask for a couple of seconds for them to check against your passport, and then I can proceed to interview while masked?
Please let me know what to expect, or if you've had a similar experience.
I had an interview at that office in April of this year and yes I kept my KF94 on the whole time except for a moment when the US CBP officer compared me to my passport photo and then again when they took my picture for the card. Most of the US officers weren't wearing masks but were totally fine with me wearing one and they'd say "Ok you can put your mask back on" when a procedure finished.
During both interviews I was masked the whole time.
