The base room is a King size bed, which seems bigger than most Moxys, and some of the reviews suggest the rooms are "roomy", which is not what Id expect from a Moxy.

When it comes to Moxy in the UK, I've only stayed at York and Chester. Both were well-located new-builds with small rooms (although I booked a Moxy Family Sleeper in Chester, which was a suite the size of two regular rooms).

Moxy Manchester is not a new-build. It's adaptive reuse of a former hat factory. That could affect the dimensions of the rooms.

It wasn't just a hat factory. The following article mentions that the building has also been a soda water factory, a manufacturing chemist, and a silk finishing factory.
