"First, Mike, can you tell us who you phoned (better still post the phone number) to tell them your code for this application and where you got the code from please:"

looked into this code and discovered exactly what it is - for those already with tesco financial policies...bit of a bonus on top of a bonus.....if you've got say home insurance already with tesco you can use it, if not you're not eligible....apparently it's automatically picked up on the computer.

No, no other codes so far as my research tells me.

"Third, Anyone doing more than one application?:"

yes, but be careful...spoke to someone at clubcard hotline who mentioned something about someone being blacklisted from clubard scheme for abusing the system....multiple applications followed by multiple cancellations that seriously reduced margins/incurred losses for tesco would certainly be considered ripe for some sort of reddress on the part of tesco. My advice would say one or two, possibly three would be OK.....any more looks iffy.

Also I happen to know that air miles schemes are the subject of an internal working group at the Inland Revenue - looking at possibility of taxing them as benefits!!!!!!!!! (might need some serious lobbying) For this reason suppliers of miles and their partners are being much more careful about monitoring and auditing these schemes.
