Flex would be refundable, but I believe not in full, only the upfare part.
Flex also includes luggage, so that might be why your luggage options disappear. If you have previously bought extra luggage on top of Light fare, that could explain why the upfare is unusually cheap - luggage cost might be discounted from the payment (and/or seating maybe?)
I think this is what's happening. I had 3 pieces of luggage per leg on the light fares.
Now the reservation says that I have 9 on the outbound (!) and 0 on the inbound. Which of course doesn't make a lot of sense, because I'd have liked to have the original 3 on the return that is still on light.
I suppose it's something I'm only going to be able to check at the airport, given the difficulty of getting in touch with KL on the phone.
