OP's partner is at gate at PIT. Flight posts a 3hr delay. Because there's minimal service at PIT, goes back to check in desk to ask about rebooking. Is told no options, so using original boarding pass goes back to gate to wait for delayed flight. When goes to board, finds out that ACcancelled them off the flight when they were checking rerouting options, and refuse to put them back on the PIT-YYZ flight.
