Over the past few months I have been producing a series of Emirates seat maps and more recently developed the Boeing 777 maps to the stage where they can be published. You can find them on
AeroLOPA, a website I own and maintain.
This has been a slow process and you'll be amazed at the lengths taken to research this since Emirates doesn't offer much more than the most rudimentary seating charts which indicate the order of seat rows but not a lot more. Hundreds of cabin photos were gathered, filtered, categorised, then scrutinised. Occasionally, you'll find a detailed cabin layout plan buried in Air Incident reports. These proved to be very useful, but most useful of all is
murtaza12's fantastic Emirates Fleet tracker.
I am now confident of the accuracy of the 777-300ER seating diagrams but openly admit there still a few are blind spots in my research so I am hoping some of the experts here might offer a hand by filling in the gaps. One particular blind spot relates to the ULR types which have a secret door to the crew rest compartment located forward of the rear galley. In the respective seat maps you can see this immediately behind seats 49DEFG grouped next to two toilets. However, Boeing's standard arrangement is to have the internal stair module opposite door 5L which is at odds with what I have drawn. Can anyone confirm the correct arrangement here?
I have a couple of other requests:
1) Are the aircraft codes 73J, 77L, 73M, 73W still valid? Are there codes for the 6F 42J 306M and 8F 42J 306M ULR configurations?
2) Are both toilets located at doors 4L/4R accessible?
If you have any suggestions or comments, including anything you spot that doesn’t look right are especially welcome. Enjoy.
