JL ORD is a bit different - they have an agent in the FL lounge. I don't think CX has any agents airside until the gate.
The QF F lounge is not yet open. If it remains not open when you travel, it may be a moot point as you may prefer staying at the FL. Otherwise, maybe try your luck to see if the oneworld lounge can call someone from CX to help you check in? I don't know.
