booking the right flights in premium eco (FR to US) with a child
Hi there,
Sorry if this is not the good place to post this, I was wondering where I could ask...
We are planning to fly to the US next year (March-April) from CDG to visit our family.
We will be travelling with our 3yo daughter (she will 4 next April) and it would be her very first long-haul flight.
Our budget is tight and we cannot take business class but we would afford premium economy.
I was wondering if this class is worth paying the extra buck because i spent hours researching info and it seems to be various depending on the aircraft AF is operating and also it may occur that a partner (KLM or Delta) would operate the flight...
so my questions are:
- for a transatlantic flight with AF, is premium eco worth it ?
- which aircrafts should i target when selecting the dates and flights (also according to the prices) to make sure we have an aircraft offering comfy premium eco seats but also low cabin noise? (the A380 was such wonderful aircraft for noise, not for the shell seat in premium eco, so now, is the dreamliner the best compromise or the A350?)
- if not AF, should i consider other Skyteam companies or others?
thanks a lot
