But Idon't see what lounge benefit OLCI will give you. The lounge is airside, so you need to go past check-in counter anyway.
As I stated I am connecting from a domestic flight. I will already be airside.

If OP is arriving LAX via AA or AS and has sapphire, emerald or is holding F or J ticket, I would say maybe use the AA FL first before CX check-in counter opens. You may also want to try your luck at the oneworld/QF lounge to see if they can process your entry (or even check-in, though I doubt) for you.
Last year, I arrived ORD on an AC flight, connecting to JL. I didn't have boarding pass as AC couldn't print it, but AC checked my bags through. I presented my ticket at the Admirals Club, who had a JL agent stationed there, and she completed the check-in for me at the Admirals Club.
Yes, I am arriving via AA domestic. My goal was to hit the QF First Lounge and the FL during my long layover. I am pretty confident I can get into the FL showing my ticket receipt for CX. I don't have any intention of going landside in LAX just to pick up a BP..
JL ORD is a bit different - they have an agent in the FL lounge. I don't think CX has any agents airside until the gate.
