Fortunately this is only an issue with the older Hyatt Place properties which were formerly AmeriSuites. The newer builds have the bathroom near the entry door.
This issue is my biggest complaint with Springhill Suites. Every one I’ve stayed at has the bathroom directly across from the bed and most have the frosted glass doors which floods the room with light.
