Maybe just issuing a coupon to be given to the F&B outlet, then F&B deducts it and you pay your bill however you want (cash, credit card, or room charge) and you are done.
Is Hilton trying to make this such a problem for the hotel and consumer that everyone just gives in and says okay forget this benefit entirely (would be on par with IHG...)...
It can’t be that hard. Almost all of the places I have stayed have done it correctly ( the one that didn’t gave me a 3 night credit on a 2 night stay, let’s just say I was ok with that).
