I have an Irish maiden name and when I got married over 20 years ago, I hyphenated my name. (O'H***-C****) My passport and GE match my legal name. United airlines refuses to put the apostrophe or the hyphen in my profile, instead running it all together. This means that my name will not match exactly my GE. Up until my last trip, I never had an issue with this. I always got precheck. Every other airline spells my name correctly but UA refuses. Does anyone have any tips on how to proceed?
