Maybe just issuing a coupon to be given to the F&B outlet, then F&B deducts it and you pay your bill however you want (cash, credit card, or room charge) and you are done.
The problem with this approach is that it wouldn’t allow use of partial credit across multiple outlets in a single “day” (
e.g., $8 toward a poolside beer in the afternoon & any residual amount toward a bag of chips in the gift shop/mini-store).
I’m not saying I expect that to be a common scenario, but the program rules explicitly allow it, so a single-use coupon would violate the official terms of the benefit.
