You can test T Mobile coverage by purchasing the Red Pocket $30 yearly T Mobile SIM from their eBay store to test the coverage. Another option is the amount Mint Mobile offers. Since the Sprit network is being deactivated, I didn’t test coverage.
T Mobile has no coverage at my mom’s, spotty coverage at my MiL’s house and large dead spots near my son’s college. All 3 are on our family plan. MVNO’s provide the opportunity for cheap coverage tests in the US. Try T Mobile before you switch to Google Fi to know the issues before you switch.
