The 30K night was in Livingston, MT - north of Gardiner. We had been in Cody, WY and originally planned to spend some days in the Tetons but it was colder and rainier than we hoped for (we were traveling in a small motorhome and didn't want to risk below freezing nights). We passed through Yellowstone entering from the northeast WY side and exiting at Gardiner - also just days before they were flooded. We stayed in Livingston before heading north through Kalispell to Banff / Jasper in Canada. Livingston was one of the towns that was also isolated due to the floods, days after we left there.
We also had to top up 5K points for the Towne Place Suites in Kalispell / Whitefish which was 40K. Then used a certificate in Fairbanks, AK (for a 20K award at the Springhill Suites) and another cert at a Residence Inn in Murfreesboro, TN for a 24K award.
We love the Tetons and will get back there next year, if not sooner.
