the way I read that:
- you get 30k if you charge $3k in the first three months, no matter what you charge.
- you get double points for non-bonused ((1X) spend for the first six months, capped at 30k points.
Only 1X spend will count for both parts.
So, if you spend $15k on Hyatt stays and nothing else during the first six months, you get 30k for the first $3k (assuming they were in the first three months), but nothing for the rest of that spend. If you spend $15k on groceries during the first six months (and $3k of that during the first three months), you get 30k+30k.
Ahhh I think I got it. That’s not what I was hoping for but thanks for the clarification.
