Take the Piccadilly line to the British Library. The Magna Carta and the Gutenberg Bible never get old.

Along the historical line, when in London and wanting a few minutes of peace I usually go to St. Olave's church, near the Tower. This is where 17th century diarist Samuel Pepys and his wife Elizabeth are buried, and there is a bust of her that he commissioned after her death, on display inside.
Wonderful place for reflection.
