Thanks for the updates and advice guys. It's definitely vague on what qualifies for an 'eligible fare class' and whether the cheapest Y ticket would qualify or not. I'm pretty sure I'd be taking a risk going with the cheapest Y fare, and even the mid fare would be in question.

Probably best I call CX to find out. I'll give them a call later today and update everyone.
