I'd be more inclined to go with Protea Sea Point over Fire & Ice. Great area with lots of cool cafe's and restaurants plus the ocean promenade is right outside which runs to V&A if you fancy a long walk.
If driving the location is in between the City and Camps Bay so everywhere is a short drive, they also have a convenient and secure underground car park.
Rooms are similar to Fire & Ice, recently refurbished but still small, if suites are available they will always upgrade elites.
