I've missed the cutoff at SEA once a few years ago after an uber driver took a "faster way" through downtown and 99 instead of the 5, taking much longer.. We ended up having to toss larger fluids and gate-check the bags as there weren't other flight options to make it to DCA in time for when we needed to arrive.
