1A is the best seat in the house on the 787-9, and it's usually blocked. I wouldn't even put 9A in second place to be honest, as it's in a significantly busier area, and the storage access near it is used frequently by the crew. 3A would probably be my second choice.
I was a little worried because seatguru listed 1A as yellow due to proximity to the lavatory yet it listed 9A as a regular seat, so thanks for the confirmation!
