Booked a 3-night stay for this past weekend for my wife and daughter at this hotel....they loved it. Booking was for a standard award room using 3 Amex certificates - one extended from during the pandemic, one bonus one for spending like $10k on the card over the winter, and our regular 2022 one. Received an upgrade to a 1-bedroom suite on the 31st floor. They used the $50/day credit in the afternoons to get things like charcuterie boards and drinks....they didn't want to forgo 3 opportunities to eat proper New York bagels so leaving the hotel for breakfast was no problem for them.

95k is of course way steep for a points award, but as a destination for Amex free night certs, this remains a very good option.
