I hope you will report back about the resolution of your insurance claim. There have been many posts about Covid insurance but I don’t remember reading any where insurance paid for Covid quarantine and flight rebooking. Good luck with that. Ireland is a wonderful country, I lived there for several years in the 70s, during the Troubles. I played soccer with a Protestant team in Derry on Saturdays and a Catholic team in Donegal on Sundays. Not all of the catholic boys would pass me the ball, unfortunately. My favorite memory of a trip to South West Ireland was in Killarney. We were staying at a hotel in the center of town but when we were about to leave we found it was market day. We couldn’t go anywhere because several flocks of sheep were tied to our car door handles. Also add the Dingle peninsular to your list of places to go.
