You seem to have made some rather nice lemonade with the lemons that were dumped on you - congratulations! It was a great read and I think that Ireland was probably the best place you could be stuck. I hope that you and your daughter eventually manage to have a pre-planned trip which fills in some of the gaps. Thanks for the TR and I hope that your daughter recovers fully.
