Beside the problem to find 77W rated pilots and crews, i would await from LH that they are German speaking, as do all of their flying crews.
Secondly Lh has enough pilots. They had the correct number of pilots and crews to fly 14 A380s. Most of them are still with LH albeit flying different ac types now. Converting them back to A380 can't be of a so big effort, relatively to getting them trained to a 77W. Especially as it is still unclear if the 777X will have the same type rating as the 77W. Training them now on 777 already now and converting them 77X later may not be of an advantage.
