- Were you (or for multi-stayers were you generally) happy with the hotel/stay? Yes

- Which room did you book and which upgrade did you receive? Booked Privilege Appartment, got just that

- How are the rooms? Pretty good. They seem to be two adjoining rooms renovated to form a suite, where the former bathroom of one of the rooms was changed into a kitchen.
On one side, there is the bedroom, with a mini-fridge, safe, TV (with Chromecast) and a small desk with wheels.
On the other, which was a bit smaller, there was a sofa that could be turned into a bunk bed, a table, TV and a chaise. The kitchen had a fridge, a cooktop, a microwave, a dishwasher, an electric kettle and all utensils (pans, plates, cutlery etc). Nespresso machine (4 capsules a day). Iron and ironing board where also available. Good drapes kept the light out completely in both the room and the living room. My stay was during a heatwave: while aircon was good during the night, room felt a bit warm in the late morning.
I felt the room had too little space for clothing and storage (no drawers and just one locker in the bedroom). From what I could see in the fire emergency instructions, some Privilege rooms have a bit more space in the entrance to the lounge, where I believe there should be another locker. Amenities were Mercure and Nuxe branded. Mini fridge items where free and refilled daily (water and soda).

- What was good and what was bad?

Good: comfortable room. Very attentive service, especially from Camille, from the front desk. Great location right by Saint Georges square, the Capitole and right above Galeries Saint George mall. Good breakfast.
Small pool and an outdoor bar, where there is live music on weekends (I had a room facing away from the pool, maybe it can get a bit noisy).
There is no restaurant, but a nice looking bar, with board games available.
I had some trouble booking through the website, but contacted the hotel and had it booked directly with them, with a better rate.

Bad: nothing really. Maybe the lack of drawers in the room.

- Did you get club lounge access? How was the lounge? N/A

- What about welcome drinks, welcome amenities or any other special perks? Welcome drinks for three guests (got local beers). Bar staff said that all welcome drinks had to be ordered at the same time, something I had never encountered. Some chocolates as a welcome gift. Early check-in (around 1pm).

- Value for $ or Vouchers? Would you return? Yes and yes.
