I've always taken second highest. There are times they've offered me more.

I'm almost always called if they actually need the flight. Unfortunately, they always seemed to work it out at the last second and sent me back to my seat. Last time I made it to the cabin door before they sent me back lol.

Was offered $700 for BWI-DFW with a departure just a few hours later.
