You should be good to go.

You can set up a login on the TfL website in their contactless area and register your card in there. Register with your physical card number and it will also pull though the virtual card number assoicated with your ApplePay. This should permit you to see the detail of journeys made and how the charges for that day have been calculated. This extra step is entirely optional. If you don't need to be bothered with the journey detail then just use it without registering and you'll get billed for a single amount every day based upon the total cost of all trips made subject to any daily price cap you attain.
