Hello, I have a vacation week where I can take a side trip from Singapore the second week of December. I was thinking of Hoi An and Da Nang, but I'm getting conflicting info about that being a terrible weather time with monsoons. While weather is subject to change, it it usually a bad time to visit? I have never been and would be doing general tourist stuff.

If its not a good time to go, other Vietnam suggestions very welcome. THANKS!
