Next stop is Donostia-San Sebastian - we have an apartment for 4 nights near the Santa Catalina bridge on the other side from the old town (Egia neighborhood). For activities, we planning to do the following:

- Tour the old town (Parte Vieja): Basilica de Santa Maria del Coro - Plaza de la Constitución & arcades- Mercado de la Bretxa - 7th century Iglesia de San Vicente - San Sebastián City Hall - La Concha Beach & Promenade - Good Shepherd of San Sebastián Cathedral - Miramar Royal Palace (Palacio de Miramar), and other sites within one miles radius as another FTer mentioned above. We might get a one-day hop-on hop-off bus to do this …
- Igueldo funicular to climb Monte Igueldo for scenic views of San Sebastian & Santa Clara island
- Castillo de la Mota & Monte Urgull to watch the sunset
- Pintxos & cava/vermouth crawl every evening - Eat the World’s Best Cheesecake at La Viña
- Have a steak and cider for lunch at Petritegi Bidea Cider House (reservations already made).

If we have time left, we will try to the following:Bilbao and the Guggenheim Museum (63 miles to the West)
Getaria (20 miles west along the coast) and then detour to Sanctuary of Loyola (30 miles SW of San Sebastian)
Hondarribia & French Basque (15 miles NE)
Ferry to Isla de Santa Clara (La Concha Bay)
