Connection at LHR: United to LOT Polish

Hi all,

I tried to call United, but the hold times are enormous. Where can I find definitive info on an itinerary my parents are on?

They are flying United to LHR and connecting to Lot Polish to head to Warsaw (3 hrs connection time). Do they need to clear immigration/customs? OR is this an air-side, int'l to int'l transfer at LHR?
