I have yet to have a stay at an Autograph Collection hotel where my experience was less than “above average” so I very much prefer those hotels. Whereas I have stayed at several Curio hotels where they have been overall either acceptable to above average but lacked that “special something” or individuality they pride themselves on, and I have had better experiences with the Autograph Collection. Although strangely enough my one and only Tribute Collection stay (Apollo Hotel in Amsterdam) was below-par, though I will give them another chance (have a stay booked at Le Dokhan's in Paris later this yr).

I don’t find myself at Ritz Carlton/St Regis/JW Marriott properties very often but the experiences I have had so far have been excellent at all 3 properties. Have not stayed at a Luxury Collection, Edition, or Bvlgari.

Westin… I’ve been to a few (mostly in the Upper Midwest though also the one in Florence, Italy) and overall I find them nice. Will seek them out if location is convenient for travel plans and the price is reasonable enough.

One brand I avoid at all costs however is Springhill Suites. The only reason I would even book one is if I have 5 or 6 people total in the room. But that also means usage of the sofabed which in my experience has no support whatsoever and collapses if you put any weight whatsoever on it. Greatly prefer Hyatt Place or Homewood/Embassy Suites.
