This experience had nothing to do with staff shortages-that delight was waiting over 2 hours at LHR for luggage to arrive, no communication, rude and dismissive ground staff. I know, not BA’s fault but the cumulative effect made the journey more like a refugee flight. Yes I’ve been on one out of the Middle East as an expat.

Why was the lounge at SFO closed? Any particular food that you tried that you recommend avoiding onboard? I’m flying on BA F SFO-LHR and back in the next few weeks so am curious.
