If the weather looks bad or the FAA is forecasting delays a day or so in advance, post here again and people may be able to help. At that point, we'll know whether there are weather waivers, what the approximate loads look like on other flights, etc.
Thanks, Stu. I have been watching the BNA-EWR routes for quite a while (more than 3 months). Clearly for me that kind of focus has its pros and cons.

Pingtung, I agree. The weather is not the only factor here. The flights have been cancelled days ahead even in good weather.
A cancellation days ahead may actually help me to reschedule my route, we'll see.
Regardless, I have done what I can do-- I have asked the airline for help, and sought the assistance of folks knowledgeable with the air travel industry. I will work the situation as it unfolds now.
I will carry with me your point about travel from certain time zones. Most of my experience with international travel comes from the EST, rather than the CST.
