I'm not exactly sure where the Greyhound station is specifically, but I would be INCREDIBLY careful walking around at night. Downtown Austin is heavily dangerous IMO with frequent violence around East 6th Street on weekend nights. For your safety, I would highly consider a rideshare option as luggage will surely slow you down and make you a target.

Also, for context, I'm writing this while walking alone in Manhattan - I know what cities should be like at night and can deal with homeless folks. Downtown Austin close to IH-35 is a whole different planet of scary.
