This is where I would ask the agent to confirm what category of suite the room is. (The "junior suite" here sounds like what you described, just a king room with a sofa. And the "executive suite" is the same but with a partial room divider separating the bed area from the sofa area. Neither is a suite -- but the executive is a step up, and despite the room description text, is the "standard suite" that you're entitled to at check-in. The "VIP Suite" is what you really want, but it's a premium suite.)
