Another blog had a write-up about the UK Centurion today, and how his friend received one via the Global Transfer after having the U.S. Centurion. Anecdotally, he mentioned that the U.S. Centurion was received after spending $2m over 8 months. It may very well be someone who posted their story here on FT, as apparently this person was upset about not getting a UK invite and decided to shift all spend to the U.S. Platinum in protest, after which he was invited over there. I recall a story to that effect here a few months ago.
