I’ve said it before, it’s going to be a miserable summer for air travel. Everywhere. Heard on NPR the other day that LHR wants airlines to reduce pax counts by 30%. Unless they’re forced to, I seriously doubt they’ll comply. I suspect it’s pretty much the same anywhere in the Western World. Might be slightly better in Asia and countries that haven’t rebounded from Covid demand so fast.

For me, I’m booking non-stops whenever possible to minimize IROPS, even if it’s not on my preferred airline/alliance.
