I didn't realize that the Union Club aligned with the Autograph collection. I typically attend a conference at Purdue every spring - have walked *through* the hotel (and the adjoining Memorial Union) many many times, but have never stayed there. Strong addition to the Marriott portfolio, because the only other Marriott options in the metro are in Lafayette across the Wabash river on commercial stretch immediately off of I-65 (Courtyard and Residence Inn) - approximately 10-15 minute drive from campus. [I'm disregarding the truly dreadful Four Points in Lafayette, albeit not any closer to campus - I was bumped here in 2008 after the HGI oversold. It was in *rough* shape then, and judging from a quick scan of recent reviews has not improved.]

Incidentally, the Memorial Union has a fantastic food court in the lower level that public/hotel guests can use - wide variety of styles, as you'd expect pitched toward a college-aged crowd.
