Cancelled Award Ticket on BA with CX Miles
Several months ago I found award availability in business class on this route: JFK-LHR-CFU and used Asia Miles to book the ticket (all British Airways flights). I received an email from Cathay Pacific early this morning saying the flight from JFK to LHR is cancelled and they would call shortly to discuss my options. This flight is for this upcoming August '22 and I know summer's award availability to Europe is scarce.
Does CX have to rebook me on any flight to LHR or must it have award availability with a OneWorld partner? Can I change my origin departure city? Thanks for your help.
