There are actually plenty of accommodation choices on La Digue. I haven't checked Praslin but I'm sure that's the case as well.

Now if you are looking for resort chains you won't find any on La Digue. But there are plenty of self catering accommodations available on La Digue ranging from 2-4 stars. There are a few bona-fide hotels on La Digue too.
