Depending on where in NL you're going, if you're willing to fly out of LCY you might consider LCY-RTM-LCY instead of LCY-AMS-LCY (or -LHR). Rotterdam airport is such a breeze compared to Schiphol, and the cityflyer service is better than fine. The Netherlands is a small country (and Holland within it is smaller still) - RTM to Amsterdam is less than an hour by car, a bit more by public transport.
