I have accumulated roughly 250k Aeroplan points over the past 6 months and would like to use them on a business class trip really anywhere in the world from YYZ. It can be one way or round trip doesn't really matter, I'd just like to have a nice experience for my first time ever in business. The one problem I've encountered with Aeroplan is that we are five people, and other than maybe Lufthansa I haven't had much luck with award space for that many people. Air Canada does have availability of course but wherever I look it's always like outrageously expensive. Like 200-300k points per person one way to Europe. Is there something I'm missing because that is way outside the dynamic pricing range and to not have a single seat sell for under seems pretty odd. Does anyone have any tips on which airlines release ~5+ business class seats frequently or how to find space or cheaper rates with Air Canada? Any help would be appreciated.
