I have an upcoming flight coming into T5 on QR with a BA PNR with family members & a separate flight a few hours later from T2 on an EI flight into Ireland.
Some of my group have UK short stay C class visas which entitle them to visit Ireland but they have to actually go landside through immigration in T5 for the visa to be triggered (they show the UK entry stamp to Irish immigration).
The two flights are on separate tickets as trying to book it straight through on ba.com was a couple of grand more just for the Irish connection so I booked directly on IE.
What would happen if our bags were lost or delayed so long that I had to leave to make our connecting flights & put in a lost bags claim?
Can I get them sent to our address in Ireland?
Btw we are expected to land into T5 at 0615 & the next flight leaves T2 at 0950.
